The Catalina Macaw is a large hybrid macaw resulting from a cross between the Blue and Gold Macaw (Ara ararauna) and the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao). As a captive-produced hybrid, it does not occur naturally in the wild and therefore has no native geographic range. Catalina Macaws typically display a mix of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue plumage, reflecting traits inherited from both parent species.

All of our hand-fed babies are hatched and raised in our own breeding facility and weaned onto a diverse, high-variety diet. Our parrots are never clipped and are fully flighted.
